Do you mean?
* John Fogarty (rugby) (born 1927), Australian rugby (league and union) player
* John Fogarty (rugby union) (born 1977), Irish rugby player, who has was a member of the Ireland A team, and also played for Connacht and Munster
* John E. Fogarty (1913–1967), American congressman from Rhode Island
* John Fogarty (Australian politician), member of the Queensland Parliament, 1893–1904, for Electoral district of Drayton & Toowoomba; also Mayor of Toowomba
* Jon Fogarty, racing driver
Or, perhaps,
* John Fogerty, singer-songwriter
Either way, thanks but not interested. Sorry, but I've never been able to tolerate "swamp rock".

You forgot some of his best songs: Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Green River, Fortunate Son and, of course, his comeback: the baseball anthem CENTER FIELD.
(And, uhh...Heard it Through The Grapevine isn't his, it's an old Motown song covered by about ten different acts.)

EXCUSE ME....I failed. Never claimed that Heard It Through the Grapevine was his, just that they also sang it (a very long version).
