I have an older orphaned Dolphin 3100 that requires some parts, i realize some parts are right from GM . I was wondering if anyone knows if the window washer motors are GM products or are they some other brand? Also if anyother make model would work ? With that where on the WWW has one found the best service for purchasing used parts from wreckers , seems up here in Canada old RVs just dissapear. , cant find a wrecker any where in BC .

Been there, doing that have a few T shirts .

Windshield Wiper Motors Gear Boxes and Washer Pumps can often be found at NAPA and other Auto Parts Stores. They can cross reference the item just by taking in the Broken Part. Also there are usually places to rebuild Electric Motors.

I have found that one of Our Local Wrecking Yards has a pretty good selection of stripped parts that are usually 1/3 the cost of New and even cheaper if You Remove the part from one of Their Boneyard Vehicles.

You are right about the shortage of RV Specific Wrecking Yards, I guess there just are not enough of them for anyone to bother with!

If you have the old pump you could take it to a truck repair facility. A lot of MH parts are the same as big truck parts. For instance, I once found wiper motors for my old swinger MH at a truck supply.

rear 'air lift' suspension ?

or front 'air coil' for inside the springs

both are available from "JC whitney", "in pairs", i but a new pair of front lifts on our P30 'back in the spring' $80+ dollars for the pair

You may want to consider replacing the springs completely with these. I have a 1991 Mallard 32 footer that was sagging in the front and had some sway when a tractor trailer would pass. I replaced my springs with these without any bags and it raised my front back up to normal ride height. No more sway when tractor trailers pass and the ride was much better too. We took it on a 4 hour trip into upstate New York and I was very pleased with the difference.
