I guess this is a good place to mention something that happened last night. DH and I were coming back to the 5er after the weekly trip to Wally World in Grand Junction. We were on I70 headed east, I had slowed down for the curves and was doing about 55, a truck came around me doing 65+, no more than 1/2 mile ahead, he slammed the brakes and I had to hit mine hard and swerve to miss him. He didn't miss the deer. I have been troubled all day seeing that deer skid down the highway. It breaks my heart for things like that to happen.
