I realize I spend way more money on maps that I should. I love paper maps (good ones)and I have either Benchmarks or DeLormes for every state I go through. I prefer Benchmark, but they only make maps for the western states (as far as I know). They are big (CO is 142 pages, WA 127 pages) but I really like and use them a lot.
Fortunately I have clients who constantly give me gift cards for REI (which I'm sure they get with dividend points) and I use them to get maps (and Garmins and.....).

Anyway, I get a lot of enjoyment just sitting down and poring over maps in my spare time. I do this with a lot of international maps on the internet as well.
