It's time for a new deep cycle house battery for my Tioga Class C and Wal Mart has a group 27 for around $70 dollars. I bought NAPA batteries for a few of my other cars and they were mostly junk.

Walmart has junk batteries with a good warranty, Napa batteries are made by Exide and are also junk. Go buy Trojan or Interstate and enjoy camping.

I used to use them and found them to be a kind of "good news / bad news" joke. Good news was they have a great guarantee that will be honored at thousands of places all over the country. The bad news is you'll be USING that warranty about every year to year and a half. Probably would be just fine as long as you don't dry camp much. Good luck / skip

I bought 2 of the group 27 for my 5th wheel at Sam's club. I didn't think my Trojans gave me the service I expected for the price.
I guess I'll know in a couple of years if the Sam's club batteries were a bargain or not.

WM works for us. Strangely we can get better run times and service life out of the group 24 vs. 27 for some reason. That is 75 AH vs. 115 AH. Not sure why the smaller batteries last longer between charges and service life.
They are about the only place open when I decide to buy a battery.

Keep them charged, full of water and adhere to the discharge rules and they do fine. And try and exchange your Trojan in the middle of no where.
As for the size vs service life issue above, just indicates that ratings and actual service are not an exact science.

get the deep cyc marine and you;ll do just fine ,I have 6 of them in use ,two over four yrs old , my trojans died , and there not on every corner, if you got the room go golf cart batteries.

Every golf cart I saw have Trojan Batteries and the Walmart here has Trojan batteries.

I have had real good luck with WM batteries. Have lasted a lot longer than the originals I had installed on my 2007 Four Winds.
