Thanks for the input. It seems to be a draw, some have holes, some don't. I may just buy the quick disconnect fitting and then get a coiled hose from elsewhere. Of course that means I will have to store it elsewhere and storage space is at a premium in my trailer. If I bought the OEM hose I would probably still store it elsewhere to prevent the same damage.

I've never used any solvent on the hose. It seems that it rubs inside the tube as I am traveling.

I tried an air hose fitting which looks very similar but it doesn't work.

Yes I know, that is where the picture in my OP is linked from. I probably should have included a link to their site. Thanks anyhow, maybe others didn't know where to get them.

You should have gotten the hose with it. The dealer should have corrected that during the PDI.

My trailer has the same hose. I use it occassionally and it works great. Works wonderful for my misting system. No leaks other than the usual leak at the hose washer or pressure nozzle they supplied. Once I have one I couldn't do without it, much more convenient than the outdoor shower.

I used mine once to hose of while camping in the middle of summer in the desert (105F).
