Since you can't double post on the site, I hope I can refer to a Topic I just added under General RVing issues. Important to the diesel powered!

I didn't follow the linke in the post, so I can't voice an opinion; however, "Political" is the reason listed for the deletion.

Trying to avoid the Political, the meat was Cap & Trade could raise diesel prices $0.88 / gal. above existing prices. The article was by the Trucking Industry. The Trucking Industry supported lower speed limits & infrastructure improvements instead of Cap & Trade. Trucking Industry said it would rather conserve fuel than past cost on to the end customer. Hope I didn't drift on the the dark side with this post. My point was to help prepare Diesel owners, of which I am one, for higher prices in the future should Cap & Trade move forward. FYI only, no political replies please.

Diesel alway goes up this time of year, the excuse is to make heating oil. We were just today talking about topping off the Freightliner. I probably have enought fuel to get back to home base in Tennessee. But today I noticed Diesel was $2.57 which is down fro the price we noticed comming down the end of Oct. which was $2.69.

If Cap and Trade goes thru there is no limit to what fuel prices will be. I tell you if don't get with the program and talk to the people you hired to work for you the RVing thing will be gone. Better wake up America. We are in serious times. GBY...

I am not sure why this is a suprise to you. This has been common knowledge for as long as this issue has been debated, unless you are only a consumer of CNN/Network news.
