OK, so I know a lot of you won't find this funny but here goes...
What's the difference between a mechanical engineer and a civil engineer??
The mechanical engineer makes weapons and the civil engineer makes targets!
Life is too short to spend it all in one place!

I remember in the Air Force they always had fancy names for all the different jobs. If you got assigned to Civil Engineering you just may find yourself pushing a lawn mower around. That was civil engineering in the Air Force.

Heh, that's funny!
Being an Industrial Engineer I have heard many.
In the Aerospace industry, what's the difference between an Industrial Engineer and a Mechanical Engineer?
The Mechanical Engineer must pass Calculus 3, join a union, and works in a cubicle. The Industrial Engineer must pass one easy technical calculus class, has a bunch of Mechanical Engineers reporting to him, and is in the corner window office.

Over the years I have worked with several different types of engineers. Currently working for an electrical engineer.
Have worked for mechanical engineers who became salesmen for very specific types of mechanical doodads (yes, that is the technical term...LOL )
I was employed once as a domestic engineer...wait, does cashing the DH's check count as being employed?
