I don't see the rip off. Did you see the price before the purchase? Sounds like you ripped yourself off, not the folks at the gas station.

Why are you saying it is a rip off?????????

Perhaps the clerk made a mistake

and

YOU DIDN'T CHECK TO SEE WHAT YOU WERE CHARGED.

Or that was the price that the service station charges

and

YOU DIDN'T ASK WHAT THE PRICE WAS BEFORE USING.

RIP OFF... no way!!!!!!!!

Bad on you!

Eh!

I noticed on our last trip to the Yukon that many service stations would show only fuel purchase even when we bought some refreshments at the same time. I also didn't notice it until reviewing receipts. The total cost was correct (pump price plus cost of refreshments) but the quantity of fuel was skewed to reflect the total cost.

Wondered how this affected their bookkeeping ... wouldn't their records show more fuel sold than was actually sold, and thus more taxes due to the governments for the fuel sold? And what about the inventory ... fuel sold vs. fuel bought. I pondered a bit, but as long as we were charged the correct total cost I figured it wasn't too much of my brain power.

OP here.

Your comments are precisely my thoughts, it has to be programmed into their computer so it must have the blessing of owner/manager.

By the way, I did phone back later in the week and they told me the windshield antifreeze was $5.00 a gallon.

Funny, you didn't mention this in your first post.

Anyway, you snooze, you lose.

States I have spent the night in my current rig, bought three years ago.
Have RV'ed through 49 states and been in all 50, just short of my half-century.

Funny you ask. Feel free to phone them at 403-562-7739 and ask them how much is the "Rain-x All Season -40C" windshield washer fluid that is for sale out at the pump.

And yes I was snoozing.

Need some corn squeezins this time of year too. As time goes on, more corn and less water
