After reading all these issues about Lance and Arctic Fox on this board, the fiberglass clamshell seems like the ticket for low maintainence. If I were buying new that's the direction I'd go. I think I got lucky on my used 1991 Fleetwood Caribou, it's a big old heavy son of a gun, but everything works in it, there have been no leaks (so far), and the layout on the inside looks the same as most of the other campers out there.
