OMG!!! I'm at work and my dogs are driving me crazy because "it's time to go home". Of course, the clock says it's only 4:30 - but try to convince the hounds of that.....LOL!!!
I'll bet I'm not the only one with pets whose internal clocks haven't changed?!

Nope, mine wanted food an hour early this afternoon. Was kinda funny. We forgot about the time change and didn't realize why he wanted food so bad. He's always right on time!

Nope.....it takes a few weeks for them to get back on schedule....
Hey, it's taking me a bit to get back on schedule too....I'm hungry for dinner, and it's not for an hour.......though I'm usually hungry all the time, so what's new, right!!

My Little Guy, Cody, 1 1/2 yr old Maltese woke me up at 5:30 to go out. But he didn't mind going back to bed for a little while, so it worked out. I am sure that he will be getting me up early for a few days, but he is worth it

Ours get up earlier than I want and then think they should have their evening snack at the "old" time.... it will take a while for them (& me) to get on the new schedule. These darned time changes have us all confused!

I have been gradually changing them over the month before going one way or another.
& being only one human, before I retired I took them to garage pens during the day. & I would often do errands on the way home, so they never got an evening schedule that was fixed.
This still applies now that I have retired. Some days away are whole days. & they are in outside accommodation.
& I, I took the road less travelled by.

I laughed right out loud when I saw this post! My male golden, Reilly, is now standing at the pantry barking at exactly 5:00 instead of 6:00! And my daughter dropped off her golden puppy at 7:00 a.m. for puppysitting instead of the usual 8:00 a.m. Seems Jameson got her up VERY early for work this morning! LOL
Wanna-be RV-er - if this economy doesn't turn around, I'll never get my RV!

About a year ago I stated how my Collies always got me up at 4:45 AM even on my days off and vacation. I had a slew of people who told me that dogs have no concept of time. I kind of feel vindicated now. Their method of getting me up is a gentle touch with a COLD wet nose.
