Hey all,
We're going to take the kids to do something we've never done before, Razor Clam Digging!

Any recommendations for first timers as to what RV park would be the best one to stay in, and then razor clam dig?

It needs to be one of these beaches in gray:

We like camping at Kalaloch Campground. We have never clammed but lover the campground.

Does Kalaloch have any site with electricity? Can't find any info online. We drove though years ago and it's a really pretty spot and right next to the razor clam spot.

If you want to stay for free and drycamp, Quinalt Tribal Casino has an area within site of the beach with security.

Thanks all. Great suggestions!
I think the wife wants electrical hook ups, she's not much of a dry camper.

I would also suggest Grayland SP in the outer part nearest the beach. The older section has full h/u and the new section nearest the beach is w/e. Also the Ocean Lakes SP at Ocean Shores as well as the one at Pacific Beach are great if you can get in. Twin Harbors also has some h/u if you have a small rig.
Klaloch,while being a really nice place is no h/u and mostly small sites also. It's also kinda far from anything.

If you can score a site at Pacific Beach State Park north of Ocean Shores -- you would have clam digging practically at your door step!!

Some of their sites are electric -- but because they are a smaller park and popular during the digs - they fill up fast.

As others have already mentioned: Grayland State Park which is larger and also has hookups {BUT looks like already sold out for Nov 14 too}

We've stayed at Twin Harbors SP in Westport {first come first serve} BUT the electric sites are across the Highway!! Just a quick short drive to the beach though ...

We did dry camp on the ocean/beach side and had the place practically to ourselves LAST Nov during the clam dig

I would stay there again if everything else was full.
