There are mixed reports about Fawn Lakes. Some say it is year around but the forest service says no. Do not need hookups or even a "site" just a place safe to park and use as camp for a few days. But I can tell you to watch the weather real close. Some of those roads get bad and stay bad for sevral days. We have stayed there many times.
