My Wife & I looking to buy a new, well built, light Travel Trailer. Judging from the brochures & web site videos we've looked at, the Ever-Lite looks to be a built a bit better with new composites to reduce weight, increase strength & durability. We're going to look at one next weekend to give it a good going over. Any Ever-Lite owners out there who can post thier opinons,likes/dislikes, things to look for?
Thanks, Tom

I've never heard of the brand but it MAY be a local manufacturer or maybe I've just never heard of it. Might check it out on the web site where owners submit reviews of their own RVs and see if anyone else owns one or if so what they say about it. Here's a link to the site.

I've looked at their web site before. Just looked at it again. I think that's a really nice looking trailer and looks well built! Wonder about the price though? Some products that pride themselves on using recycled material can cost much more than non-recycled for the same product. Just like purchasing a home, check out your "comparables" and see how good a "value" it really is.

I just purchased one a few months ago and have had it out on one trip. Search the forums for Evergreen and you will see my comments. The bottom line is I think it is a very well built trailer that pulls very well. The company is also VERY responsive to questions both by phone call and email.

Went and looked at them this weekend as the 1st dealer in the area is starting to carry them. We really liked them and only found 2 items that may or may not be a problem, Nancy would know if they are. The dinette cushions tuck deep into the seat backs. When I sat the to lip of the seat digs somewhat into my back. I figured I could put a 1" spacer of some sort in so they wouldn't sit in as far. The 2nd was the exterior hatch doors for the pass thru storage. They are composite of course but have no metal edging. The composite door is maybe 3/4" thick and is somewhat weak. On a new unit they already had a bow to them. I would think that down the road they would be susceptible to leaks. Other then that they are well worth a trip to go see. Keep in mind you'll be paying for the quality and they have limited floor plans at this point. If they made a smaller unit I'd be very interested. The 80" queen alone makes them worth the trip. Just an FYI, the salesman mentioned that other manufacturers would be coming out with similar composite units in the coming months, but I'll be surprised if they are as well thought out. The pros on the Evergreens well out weigh the 2 cons I could find.

Forgot to mention we looked at the 27', we're interested enough to go back when they get in the 25'.

Oh ya, we bought one and have used it 3 times and again next weekend. WE have the 31 ft. with the rear lounge. I cannot find anything I don't love about it.

I think it is resonably priced considering the quality. I love the floor plan and it is light. We have people at the campsite always asking questions.

We have had some probles filling the composite propane tank, but we do like to have lite and you can see how much propane we have. The dark windows ( we have only camped in fall) are deceiving while you are inside because I thought it was dreary out but it was not but in the summer this will probably be a blessing.

Storage is great. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks everyone for all the information. We were very impressd with the 27RB Ever-lite, which is the perfect size for us right now. The one they had on the lot had just been sold on Thursday. They hadn't prepped the trailer yet, so we spent over an hour with one of the owners going over all of the trailers amenities, specs. & functions. We ordered one & hopefully we'll have it by Christmas. Good time of the year to buy a new trailer, feel we got a good deal & a fair price for our trade in. This is the second trailer we've bought from this dealer, good group of folks at Mann's in Rutland,MA

Hi Folks,
We just looked at the 29 FK and think it is a well built trailer, great floorplan. I am waiting for the Dealer to spec out the price. I believe it should come in around $34 k MSRP. What do people think is a good price to counter with?

thanks for your help.

Should think 6-8k below msrp, also helps if your trade in is in good condition.

Not sure if they're related in any way, but their website is designed in the same way that Pilgrim/Cirrus had theirs before they went under.

I bet they resurfaced under the Evergreen label. If so, that's probably a good thing. I've heard a lot of positive reviews about Pilgrim trailers.
