Wondering if any one has one and what your thoughts are on it. Looks like a good unit for just myself and maybe one other person for fishing and hiking trips. Have a full size yukon now for towing and maybe tradeing for a toyota 4runner. Want the ability to use small camp grounds, forest camp sites and off road sites. Any info really appreciated.

We have an Aliner Weekender, much smaller than the Expedition but we love it. Towed it 10000 miles across the USA and we were very comfortable. We've thought about a larger Aliner, I'd suggest you look at the Chalet brand also. Both a nice.

You could search this Forum for `Aliner' then possibly search the results for `Expedition'.

You probably can get more answer/information about Aliners from the Aliner/Chalet Yahoo group, You will need to join the group first before you can read/post.

I just bought a 2009 Aliner Sportliner last week. It is smaller than what you are looking at but I got it to tow behind my 2009 Pontiac Vibe 1.8L.

I did my research and shopped around before purchasing. The Aliners have an almost cult like following and are respected as being pretty good quality. I have only towed mine home and have not camped in it but the quality seems to be good. There are compromises made in the interest of making a light weight trailer but overall I am happy with it.

There is also the Aliner Owner's Club. The Aliner Owner Club's motto is "Friends don't let friends use canvas".
