Can anyone recommend a good RV park in Quartzsite for a two night stay? Most posts refer to parks to stay for the winter, but I only plan to stay a couple of nights while I have my satellite system worked on so I'm interested in a park that is receptive to overnighters. I'm driving a 40+ foot DP towing a Jeep GC so a pull through would be nice, but not essential. Also, I figure a park close in would be better for the guy working on my system.

Thanks,
Norm

We stayed at 88 Shades a few nights, try to get a space near Main Street, the ones by I-10 are very noisy at night due to the heavy truck traffic. Check out rvparkreviews.com click on AZ then Qtsite If you are going there soon you will not have any trouble finding a park to stay at. From rvparkreviews page you can go to the various parks websites.

Thanks Dick, guess I should have looked at rvparkreviews before I posted. I just thought there were a lot more parks there and that some of them might not be receptive to overnighters. Checking rvparkreviews it seems there are three parks that meet my requirements. I've settled on two of them and will probably try the one a little further from I-10.

This is where we are staying for a long weekend.

Rice Ranch

I think the full hookup sites are all booked, but they have a large dry camping area that is first come first serve.

Here is a list of several others

Thanks for the links Linda. I've picked Holiday Palms as my first choice if they have a pull thru available when I get there. I'll just be staying one or two nights so it's not a critical decision.

Assuming you're having your satellite work done at Satellite Advantage, Shady Lane is probably the closest RV park to that location. It's on the east side of SR-95 north of Main St. Kofa RV Park, across the street on the west side of SR-95 would also be close (no pets there).

Desert here I come. I can't think of a better place to be. You only have to be with as many people as you want.

We like Crawfords right on the main drag just east of Hiway 95. Reasonable price and they used to serve a hotcake breakfast part of the year in their clubhouse.

elh, checked Shady Lane on RV Park review and they have very bad reviews. Also, don't have 50 amp service. Thanks anyway.
