We're new to full-timing, so we'll have a lot of unusual things. DW is trying to bring all things from stick house. But we'll be in one park over the Christmas holidays, so will have our 6-foot not-so-real Christmas tree and as many decorations as we can bring. We'll also have 2 cats that walk on a leash and 2 parrots.

The grill clamped to the picnic table is not the usual variety seen in a campground. It is an attention getter. I've only seen 2 other RVers use these. Both times the RVers were also boaters like us.

Not cheap, but it is all stainless to stand up to the marine enviroment & it lasts for years.
The mounting system is a simple homebrew allowing it to be attatched to the picnic table seat, a folding stool, truck tailgate, truck reciever hitch etc.

I have taken a generator and a deep freeze with us on fishing trips. A gas weed eater and leaf rake are other handy items for backwoods camping.

I have one of those. Kept it when I sold my boat. Funny story---First time using it on the boat, I had a rail mount. In a nice quiet anchorage, I lit it up, put on a nice big london broil and 2 potatoes wrapped in foil. Went to turn the steak and it tipped over tossing all the food into the drink. The PB&J sandwiches were dinner that night.

I tried to scan all the pages on this topic and I don't think I've seen the following:
cross my heart, the tent campers next to us had a screened in porch complete with an entertainment system that housed a surround sound system, dvd player and big 'ol flatscreen. I almost passed out.
They watched sports all weekend -- barely left the screened in porch!

How about a bobcat! Yes, a bobcat!!! He had a nylon harness and leash. I was quite uncomfortable! He just sat there and stared down one of our dogs.

We were at a campground in Tennessee and the couple down from our site were walking a pig on a leash. Maybe they were fatting up there dinner.

We had a family tent camping near us down the Keys. They had several tents. On a pedestal they had a window air conditioner that was ducted to the large tent. Outside they had a regular house refrigerator and a chest freezer. Numerous chairs and a like number of electric fans.

We were camped at a high end cg in northern Mi and in pulled a nice Moho and when they put out the awning they opened thier basement and lo and behold there was a bigscreen tv. Made me feel real poor lol. Another was a kid my son was playing with in his tent had about a dozen snakes or so. I asked if he caught themn at the cg. He said no I brought these from home!!
Then we were at a popular state park in northern Mi and lo and behold at Quiet time I heard a electric guitar belting out a rock and roll riff. I've seen lots of acoustic guitars but never an electric with a regular sized amplifier lol.
