I wonder what will replace the Express.
That's my feeling too. Does GM have a Sprinter type equivalent in the European pipeline?

There is no Chevy anything in Australia. Holden produces the Captiva SUV, that is a rebadged Daewoo.
GM does not have a Sprinter alternative as far as motorhome bases go.They do have a smaller Van produced by Opel, and co-produced by Renault
Quote: The Opel Vivaro – sold in the United Kingdom as the Vauxhall Vivaro – is a medium-sized light commercial vehicle (LCV or PKW) originally launched in 2001, and is available in panel van, minibus, combined bus/van and platform-cab configurations. Two wheelbases and two roof heights are available, as well as three diesel engines and a petrol engine. The vehicle resulted from a joint venture between General Motors (owners of Opel and Vauxhall) and French manufacturer Renault, and is also sold as the Renault Trafic and, by their ally Nissan, as the Nissan Primastar. It is primarily manufactured at GMM Luton Vehicles (previously IBC) in the United Kingdom, and by Nissan at their Zona Franca facility in Barcelona.

Vauxhall is a GM UK manufacturer that has a Sprinter-like van that we saw a lot of in the UK when we were there two years ago. Click here and then click on Movano to see it.

The Opel Movano jointly developed with Renault, it is their Renault Trafic. In between a Mini van and Sprinter in capability.

So Robert, might the Vivaro be a GM replacement for the Express?

Not that familar with US vans as they do not exist here as Vans as such. Some have been used as the basis of motorhomes by Australian Winnebago and the Australian distributor of Coachman Motorhomes. Not all that successful in that application.
