I get my generic Plavix from a Canadian pharmacy named Progressive RX.
My shipments come from India. I have been very happy with their products and service. A 3-month supply costs me $120.00.

Just checked Canadian Pharmacy Meds and they list Generic Plavix =
Clopidogrel Generic 90 pills $142.00

I don't use Plavix, but I do use a Combivent inhaler for my COPD, the local pharmacy price is $129 each, I get mine from the above at a price of $126 for 6 of them (includes shipping), they work just fine for me.....

Hi Fill,

I'd be sure to add up the monthly premiums and the yearly deductible before jumping on part D. It didn't pay for me.

I don't take any drugs that does not have a 20yr track record and even at that I always ask if there's another alternative available that has a longer track record.

I'll let someone else do the drug company's field testing

I pay a $50 copay for my "real" plavix. I don't think that this is one drug that I would take a generic copy out of India.

I thought the same thing but my co-pay is much higher than $50.00 if the drug isn't a generic.
My doctor took a sample of my generic and gave the go-ahead. And, I know it's working because I bleed like a stuck pig if I get the slightest cut.

Unless your doctor takes a valid sample of each and every lot of product you receive and does disintegration/potency/etc. testing on it his "opinion" is meaningless IMHO. Can vary considerably from lot to lot and within a lot. and could be from different manufacturing companies in India where quality control varies greatly between them.

I bleed like a stuck pig also, but I don't take Plavix. Just aspirin. I asked the doctor about changing one of my meds that has Tylenol in it, she said to stay on that because of all of the meds I take that act like aspirin, because of bleeding and other side effects.

Went on Plavix in April, and in September had to drop Diovan--another
non-generic and cut my Benazapril in half. Have had good results with
Plavix. Will be glad when the patent is up and it becomes available
in a generic. Plan D picks up most of mine until I reach the doughnut
hole!
