The most comprehensive dump station list *by far* is contained on the www.sanidumps.com site mentioned by "2chiefsRus". I have used this resource many times, and have found very few inaccuracies.

If and when I DO find misinformation, i.e., a now-closed dump site or a price change or whatever, I report it to the site; the site relies on user feedback to help them stay current.

I use one my cleanouts at home as mentioned by others here. Any good plumber can install one in most cases. Myself being a plumber installed 2 cleanouts; one on the right and left side of my side yard to work with any RV. I also installed hose bibs next to them for convenience.

State parks around me allow dumping for non-campers for a fee, usually under $10

I use the book Next Exit. Used it from New Jersey to Los Angeles summer of 2008 and New Jersey to Yellowstone/Grand Teton this summer. Used it to find Fuel Station, Propane, Walmart, Campgrounds and Dump Station. Our holding tanks fill pretty quickly with 6 people in the RV.

Lake Powhatan CG (National Forest CG near here) would let non-campers use the dump station for a $5 fee thru last year. This year, it's gone up to $10, and I got the impression that it was an increase applied to all NF CG's.

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to do this: check your local ordinances (and CCRs, if you live in a neighborhood with these) for the legality of installing a sewer cleanout. I tried to have a cleanout put in, but couldn't find a plumber who was willing to risk "bootlegging" it and getting caught running afoul of the local ordinances. And, if putting in a "driveway" cleanout *is* prohibited in your neighborhood, and you put one in anyway, you can bet that some "peek through the window blinds and mind everybody else's business" neighbor will blow the whistle!

Adding a cleanout for the purpose of properly maintaining a sewer drain line on your own property is permissible in most cases. Just because the "new location" happens to line up with your RV dump valve does not make it illegal. All plumbing codes being followed. I do live in an association that frowns on parking an RV in the front yard except in the Summer months.
