A group of us that are in Marysvale UT, riding the Paiute trail system, are kicking around an idea. Who would be interested in coming to a week long rendezvous here next year in mid October. The merchants would welcome us as it would give them a slight extension at the end of their season and there are plenty of RV parks and cabins in the area, where you can ride right out onto the trail system. Here is a link to the Marysvale & Paiute trail system plus a link to ATV Utah trail information. Think about it and post your comments here for us to view or PM myself or Rubiranch. Thanks

This would be a great trip for those that don't know about the area! The country is unreal!! October might be a little iffy as far as weather is concerned but would still be worth it.

Depends on my wedding bookings, but if I'm not working I'd be there in a heartbeat. We've been there in October and really like that time of year. It's cooler and you have the trails to yourself. Been there in early June and the higher elevations are closed still with snow. We just got back from there a couple of weeks ago and had a great time, not as much water in the crossings as early June, but a lot cooler.

Sounds good to me, haven't been there yet. We've been to Moab several times during the summer off season, maybe we could stop there on the way to Maryvale.

Sounds like great fun. Wife and I fulltime in a 5'er but also have a TH stored in Monroe. We use it quite a bit around Richfield and always attend the Rocky Mtn ATV Jam in Sept. We have spent hundreds of hours riding the Piute system. I have also guided out of state friends from Kingston/Junction up to Salina/Gooseberry and even out into the San Rafael Swell. Been riding that area for about 8 years now.
October can be a cold snowy month in the upper elevations where the best riding is. The days will also be much cooler up high than down in Marysvale. I have hit snow storms during the Jamboree in September and had to turn back. It's always risky this time of year as far as weather is concerned.
DW and I would be interested in riding and camping with the RV.net group. Wife is an intermediate rider and I am very experienced riding in that area. There are alot of places to camp (which we prefer) rather than stay at an RV park. Great area to Geocache in also.
Keep me posted with PM's on whether or not this does take place, we would like to attend if I can get away from work or we are still in the state at the time.

October will be iffy for up high, but the riding is worth it. Texan, are you staying at Lizzie and Charlies, or where? Where are you heading for the "warmer climate"? Parker is next up at the end of October, and Moab, middle of November. January will be riding down by Quartzsite. Still need to run in to you and compare Idaho notes.

We would be interested... It's a destination we'd like to try.
And we'll be in Parker and Q this winter riding the trails...

In Parker we stay at Emerald Cove... there's an offroad area right across the street.
In Q, we usually stay in La Posa South... and ride everywhere from there... But we're always looking for new places to ride and stay...
