The problem is too much success!! Over the years expectations far exceed reality...The Reality is they(Cowboys) aren't as good as they(fans and owners) think they are.
The Denver Broncos showed them "Reality" last Sunday-Not that we/Broncos are that good either but on any given Sunday..........who knows Reality can set in.
Something tells me at the end of the 2009 season the Win/loss record will show Reality.
BTW don't be surprized if Mike Shanahan replaces Wade one more time. Predictions Shanahan will be Jerry Jones pick for Head Coach of the Dallas Cowpokes!
O.Y.
O.k. I am biased and a Broncos fan for 35+ years Thru "thick and thin."

I do know one thing, contrary to popular belief and baloney put out by local spin doctors, new fields DO NOT improve the product on that field. Just give me a comfortable seat, and seats that that are stacked, so I can see over top of the guy sitting in front of me. I don't need all this Jerry Jones fluff.

Cowboys are a 500 team, not as good as some and better than others.
Still fun to watch if your're a football fan like watching any other team.
I think other teams have now had enough time to figure their schemes along with changing players. The Cowboys aren't going away and will win big in the future (not this year) before they fall below 500.
You may not not like Texas or Jerry Jones but the Dallas Cowboys are going to be contenders.
Kinda like folks that don't care for the Yankees, there are times where you can watch a AWAY game for the Yankees and you'll see more Yankee fans then you'll see for the home team.

Alot has to do w/ marketing and we all know that means $$$$$.

As a lifelong cowboy fan all I can say is THEY SUCK. Romo can't hit his butt with both hands. He had the look of the deer in the headlights yesterday. This team has no heart.

What success? They haven't won a playoff game for almost 15 years. If they are a 500 team, I wouldn't suit up for a game, much less support them in any way.

E. Texan if you’re a long time fan then you should know better than to say the TEAM sucks. It’s not the team. it’s Romo. He was borderline last year and just plain second rate this year. Would you put your heart into the game if your QB “couldn’t hit his butt with both hands?” Let’s not forget Jason Garrett the offensive coach. He has had his head up his posterior lately too.

Oldyeller I respect its current undefeated season, but your team played poorly against a team that played even worse. I wouldn’t be hanging my spurs on “reality.” Reality is that Dallas has won 5 Super Bowls while Denver has only won 2.

TO is no ones savior, Skid Row. If he were he wouldn’t have been fired by San Fran, Philly, and Dallas. The Bills will be next on that list.

“Too much success” is why we Dallas fans expect the best and aren’t happy with less. When that doesn’t happen, we can turn to the cheerleaders...the best of the best.

Txrvr, that's why I can say they suck.. It breaks my heart to see them playing like this. Breaks my heart and makes me very angry.
