We could do Yargo in October. Not on 10/3 because that is a game weekend. 10th, 17th and 31st would work for us and football fans wouldn't be there.

Ft Yargo sounds good Halloween (10/30-11/1)would be kind of fun-don't you think?! What do we call it Trick or Drink for the adults and Trick or Treat for the youth? Kim and I are going to be at Old Salem the weekend of 10/3.

2nd weekend in April sounds good! We were in that area over Labor day and it was beautiful! We used to be in the Ohio rally group but moved to Alabama recently. I'm originally from Georgia so I can translate for my husband the northerner!

Reservations 1-800-252-7275
Made our reservations today for Thursday April 8th thru Monday the 12th. You cannot reserve a specific site, this is done at check in. Currently there many many sites available. We will elect to stay on the lake. I paid $25 as a deposit.
Further details will be provided as the date approaches and we know the number attending.
Under consideration: 1) Fishing on the salt water pier 2) Georgia/Florida 3)Trip to the Naval Museum 4) Kayaking and who knows what else.

We will try to make reservations tomorrow, Bob with this being such a large park will they try to keep us together, or is this just like GA state parks?
