Looking at the 2010 Jayfeather EXP 213 it appears Jayco's site has not been updated to reflect the rear slide being a king-sized bed. Pictures I see show it as a king that sleeps lengthwise, not a queen that sleeps widthwise. Can anyone confirm this? And, anyone who has one, could you please confirm the bed dimensions? I am 6'-5", and sleeping lengthwise would be much better than widthwise. Thanks.

Hey Kamp -

Go to RVDirect.com to see the newest floorplans. I see they have a 26' model with a king bed, also.

you might want to ask a similar question on the TT forum, since it's a conventional travel trailer with the bed slide on the rear, instead of the side.
probably more owners of that type of trailer on that forum.

PS -

According to the RVDirect website, 2010's have 2 rear slide models featuring a king bed, the 213 and the 26P.

The models remaining are the 19H, 23B, 213, 21M, 23J. All Jayco's feature new audio system and exterior speaker option. The LCD TV is now a min. size of 22" depending upon floorplan.

Two models were dropped, the 254 and 29A.

As with the Forest River ROO and Shamrock (twins) you can now get the clone to the Jayfeather as a Starcraft. The 2010 model year brings back the expandable line from Starcraft called the Travelstar. They are exact clones of the Jayfeather EXP except for unique wood tones, grapics, colors and tent end colors.

The 26P looks interesting, I like the u-dinette slide. Too bad they don't have a 4 bunk unit, maybe that will be a 29P in 2011....
Not sure why they have the fresh water tank at 22.5 gallons, seems small.

I would agree. Hey, Phemens, hows your 26L holding up? I still think the 26L was one of the best hybrid models (floorplans) out there.

Question, Can you sleep in the slide bed when it's in the closed position?

When I questioned Jayco, I was told the slide is not designed to support weight in the closed position.

Some of the other manufacturers like K-Z and Thor (Outback and Passport) have guide channels on the ceiling, so maybe they can support the weight while closed. The slide channels and hardware on the Jayco is completely invisible from inside the trailer like a normal slide.

Thanks for the response. Do you have a 213 and if so how do you like it? From what I have read the 2010 has a king bed slide which sounds nice.

Still lovin' the 26L. I made quite a few mods this year (solar panel, dual group31's on the tongue, extended dinette) that make her more comfy.
Haven't had any issues as you did, knock on wood!
