I would love to go but will be out of town that week. Haven't been rving since Ocala. I'm trying to schd a small wkend trip especially when the weather gets cooler.

Well Al, the Navy has decided that Wendy MUST work that weekend. We were really hoping that we could get down there..even if the launch didn't go we could sure play some cornhole! We received her weekend schedule for the upcoming year and unfortunately she has to work the 14th and 15th. Keep us posted on future outings...we really want to get out for another fun weekend.

 Aww, man, that's just wrong!
I know how it is, though. Gotta do what you gotta do. I hear everyone talking about their plans for Labor Day weekend and I have to work Saturday and Monday.
You probably get a pretty good view of the launches from J'ville, but too bad you won't be there with us. Just wondering, could you maybe send the cornhole game via UPS, or something? You know with that fancy Fla Gator paint job I'd get it back to you . . . . eventually! 
Anyway, sorry you can't make it. We're planning to do a couple of Gator games in Gainesville this year, soooo, maybe. . . let us know. Right now we plan to be at Fla vs Arkansas (Oct 17) and ,of course, Gators vs 'Noles (Nov 28). For that one we'll actually go up Thursday afternoon and party for 2 days and 2 nights before gameday. Big tailgate party on Saturday, and then we have to stop for a liver transplant on the way home Sunday.

Well, I just got notified by Tarponteaser that the launch date has been pushed to November 16.
I'm inclined to wait until after the holidays. What do you think?

Available dates in early 2010 are Feb 4 (Endeavour) and March 18 (Discovery).

I contacted Jeannine at Manatee Hammock last night and here's the deal.
If you want a full refund there's a $20 processing fee, however, you can move your deposit to another date with no penalty. The February date is already booked full, due to winter tourist trade, but they had "a few" sites left for the March launch. I moved our reservations to Mar 17 (Wed) - Mar 21 (Sun).
Mario PM'd me that he's doing the same.

Bad news for me: no space large enough for my rig as of 9am. I'll hold the Nov. date for now and I will just play it by ear. Someone may cancel closer to March.
