Well like everyone else we got the phone message..however this is what our message said "alcohol will only be allowed in a motorhome. A pull along trailer does not qualify as a motorhome". That is discrimanation! What is the deal with that, in reality it is probally that way so that campground host can consume legally.
So for us? Eric and Joanne will have to join us on EVERY Elk Neck trip and we will all have to cram into their motorhome!

Does anyone else see this as... those with motohomes now are allowed to have an open container of alcohol in a motorized vehicle? Something's not right here in Absurdistan.

It is a tad ironic that in fact a motor vehicle would be allowed to have alcoholic beverages (nobody drinks 'alcohol' folks...maybe winos) but I understand why they are drawing the line in the sand. Does the word 'self-contained' mean anything?

It is what it is.

I agree with Don. GUILTY as charged Mr. Ranger. It was freaking cold, eh?

Not to really change the subject, but has anyone ever camped at Morris Meadows. Their website looks nice but their campground map is hard to understand. Wondering for next NYE, that's all.

It is really a small CG. More of a local thing.

Ironically, I haven't received a phone call yet. Granted, I'm overseas until mid-November, but my phone is forwarded to a device that will send me the message bye-mail and nothing has come in except a call from my Mom. LOL

Guess that means I'm exempt

Cheers!

Looks like I may have to cancel this one. The leave roster for new years is out and I'm not on it. Still too early to tell for sure, so I'm not ditching the reservation yet.
