RE: New Leveling system

Just a heads up. Sonny is at the Pomona RV show this week showing the leveling system. I talked to him this morning and said he has sold 10 units so far and one of the local RV repair shops (Acacia RV) is selling the system at the show for $2995 installed.

RE: TOY HAULER MAGAZINE

It is not completely shut down. The RV industry took such a hit over the last couple of years it made it impossible to get enough PAYING advertisers to produce a print magazine. The subscription dollars are only enough to cover postage charges to mail you a magazine. I do know a lot of people got refunds. If you are not one of them I am sorry but have no answers for you. A new website is in developement right now but there is no exact date of when a new print issue will be out. The offical THM responce is "We are in the process of restructuring our production schedule and will be sending out a notice soon on when you can expect the next issue of ToyHauler Magazine. Thank you for your continued support and patience while we complete this process."

RE: Yamaha's response to CBS about Rhino's

Breaking News Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. Statement on Ray vs Yamaha Trial Verdict Jury finds no product defect with Yamaha Rhino Yamaha is saddened whenever anyone is injured in a Yamaha product-related accident, and we urge all our customers to follow the safety recommendations on our products and, as importantly, to always operate the products in a safe and responsible manner. The jury’s decision to reject the plaintiff’s claims and award no damages in this case is appropriate. The jury made a decision based on the facts. The testimony and evidence during the trial showed that this tragic accident had nothing to do with the design of the product. Yamaha’s top priority is and always has been the safety of our customers, and we pride ourselves on the safety and quality of our products. This accident demonstrates the importance of following the safety guidelines posted on the vehicles and the owner’s manuals. Rhinos are designed for off-road use only, and the vehicle is only recommended for adult drivers aged 16 or older with a valid driver’s license. Passengers must be large enough to keep their backs against the seat backs with both feet firmly on the floorboard. Drivers and passengers should wear helmets and the vehicle’s three-point seat belts at all times. Yamaha stands firmly behind the Rhino as a safe and useful off-road vehicle and will continue to vigorously defend the product. RE: New Leveling system

Motorhomes have been using 4 jack leveling systems bolted to the frames for years. The front jacks are just like the landing gear jacks you have now. Just three times faster and they can work independent of each other. Just as a side note my trailer came from the factory where I could run the landing gears jacks one at a time if I wanted or needed to. If you think that two jacks mounted directly behind your rear tires is going to bend your frame you had better worry about the 2000 lbs of toys you are putting way behind the tires when you are driving down that wash board road. I do believe I said in the original post that you need to do two jacks at a time either both front, back or 2 on one side. It is like anything else if you are not careful and take one jack and raise it all the way up by itself you can probably do damage. If you use it the way it was designed I don't believe you will have any problems.
