RE: 23SS Roo New Seals

helloooooo, the old set up has just a piece of trim around the outside of the door leaving a gap between the door and trailer. the new one has an actual seal as part of the trim, no gap. jp

RE: Clamps that hold end's closed

helloooooo, my first trailer was a 98' Bantam. the screw ends were bare on mine also. i went to home depot and got some rubber caps for chair and table legs. they were still working a year later when i sold it. jp

RE: WDH Recommended?

hellooooooo, my first trailer was a 17', 1998 Bantam. I towed that with a 2000 Durango without anything but a receiver hitch. I put a bike rack on the tongue because there is nowhere else to put it. I never had any sway or control problems of any kind. that is a very light trailer. I'm not saying that stuff won't help. It just didn't seem to need it. I have since upgraded the Durango with a Ram 1500, so I had to upgrade the trailer also. I now have a Roo 23SS and I do have a Equalizer brand setup on it. It works very well. jp

RE: Roo bunkend door seal kit

hellooooooo, i don't have a Roo dealer where i live. i bought my trailer used from a Roo dealer but they are 300 miles from where i live. if there were a dealer here, i would curtainly let them do it. i was traveling home from my last trip, late at night, when a strong storm blew in. we decided to stop for the night. where we parked the rear of the trailer was facing the rain and IT CAME IN. so, just because your rear one hasn't leaked maybe you've just not been at the right(or wrong) angle. i would ask them to do both just in case. jp

Roo bunkend door seal kit

hellooooooo, Just wanted to let everyone know that Forest River helped me out with free bunkend seal kits. I bought a used 2009 23SS. Since it was used I have no warranty. When I found out that both beds leak in hard rains, I emailed Forest River warranty, tstringfellow@forestriverinc.com. He promptly sent me out 2 kits at no charge. Apparently not all trailers leak, but if yours does and it's not in warranty, contact them with serial number. I think this speaks well of Forest River. jp

RE: bed end leaks????

helloooooooo, i just purchased a used 2009 Roo 23SS. it has that problem. i contacted Forest River this past week and they are sending me the repair kits free of charge. i like the trailer otherwise. if you are considering any of the Forest River trailers, make sure they have the new style door seals. i don't know about any other brands. jp
