I also use Tilex. I put it on with a paint roller. Spray it on from the bottle to the roller. It keeps it from driping on the siding and me. Rinse after a few minutes. Oh yes. I move the roller from side to side to work the heavy stains off.....John

Brake controller
When I first got our camper, I had the dealer to install the brake controller. Now I am looking to trade TVs. How difficult is it to take the one out of my old truck and put it in my new to me TV? I am certain this has a hook up for it already. My old TV didn't and they had to make a wire harness for it....John

I am trying out a 06 GMC with a 6.0 engine. What kind of mpg can I expect while not towing? I found the old window tage but nothing was listed on it.

I have researched it, haven't done it yet. There are pros and cons. Most of the con being that it dosn't help the ride all that much. I am guessing it has to be up to the individual.
You can by kits from Monroe. I don't think the price is bad, there is some work involved.....John

WDH will make the breaker for me
Well, here I am again with another question. We're never to old to learn.
I am planning on getting another TV this summer or early fall. I know allot of TVs come with factory weight distribution hitches on them. I am looking for a TV that is a few years old. More than likely a 1500 GM or a Ford product. I will be towing around 4800 lbs.
Please ring in with your experiences concerning the hitches. I think I recall a few years back about some of the ones made from tubing were showing cracks. Anything to that?

I would go for the Eternabond myself. I would remove the caulk and clean the area to be taped. How to remove the caulk will need to be answered by someone who has already done it.....John

Fema Trailers to Haiti?
I hope this doesn't open a bad can of worms. Why not send all the fema trailers to Haiti? I have heard there is such a glut of them that it could hamper the tt industry recovery. If they are just a simple basic trailer and the gov. already owns them, why not transport them to Haiti.?.....John

One thing to consider for sure, if you get a tt with out a slide, be sure to notice if the fold out couch is between you and the bathroom. Several are like that. Once you open up the couch for sleeping, it may block the isle to the bathroom.
