RE: Best coach names

We call ours "Vroom" (love the sound of that diesel), and our TOAD is a Saturn VUE - So we have "Vroom with a VUE".

RE: Supplemental brakes

I have had the ToadStop Qi in my Saturn VUE for several years, and I really like the system. No problems with it - that I didn't cause. I'm not sure if it was an "addition" or part of the basic system, but I also have a switch on my hitch that helps to prevent pushing or dragging by activating/deactivating the brakes on the toad.

RE: how long can I be?

Towing two trailers is legal in many states, mine(Utah) is one of them. I see MHs with a towed and an ATV trailer quite often. In almost all states in which double-towing is legal, it is only legal for commercial vehicles. I don't think getting your RV classified as commercial would be a worth while way to go. The number of states that allow double-towing for non-commercial vehicles may be zero.

A&E Door Awning - broken retainer clip (or something)?

Yesterday while bringing in my power door awning (A&E Oasis Elite)..it was almost completely in, then it sprung out to the full extended position. If I try to bring it in, I can hear the motor, but no movement...same on trying to "extend" it. I assume there is some type of retaining pin in this contraption to hold it, but I don't know. Could possibly be broken gears in the motor...? Any suggestions for a DIY repair? It appears I may have to remove it or push it in and tape it for my 450 mile trip back home this weekend. I checked with the Winnie dealer across the highway from where we are staying in Myrtle Beach this week - they knew little to nothing about the awnings. I called Dometic/A&E, but they were not much help. They were supposed to email me a parts diagram/listing, but didn't even do that. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
