RE: Outfitter Trip Report: Whazoo In Wonderland pictures

Dave, Thanks for the trip report...we needed it. Camping trips have been too far in between here lately. That is probably the greenest desert I have ever seen. Wild flowers will be right behind that. Beautiful pictures. Tell Lynn we said Hello. :B

RE: Replacing the Dinette with a recliner or couch

and others are correct it can be done as long as nothing is under the benches whoops! Be careful! It's not a 5er we're taking about there. DG: you should get ahold of your TC manufacturer to determine if removing the box frames that make up the bench seating at dinette will put the truck camper's structural integrity in jeopardy. We had thought about doing a high-tech swivel chair thing in the Outfitter in place of our dinette TABLE, but canned the idea, because 2 of us are in there. BTW: some real spiffy high-tech reading seats are available out there with round bases that may just drop right into the space between benches in your dinette (just remove your table and store it away; a 30-second operation). If you want to leave your new chair in place while traveling, just buy 2 pipe clamps to clamp the circular tube base to your dinette riser-floor, et voila. The kind of chairs I'm talking about are elegant, durable light-weight reading/meditation pilot chairs in leather their shape designed using CAD systems based on the form of human anatomy/spinal shape (not those 3-foot thick 1950's style sponge foam behemoths the size of a battle-ship). I have to warn you that good anatomically correct reading chairs are pricey (in the $1200 to ~ $7,000 range)... Good luck, Silver-So Silver, have you a link for these chairs? A comfotable place to spend some time is every truck camper owners dream.

RE: Outfitter Trip Report:It was a Swell Trip, lots of pictures

Ok Cal, Farctic and Nemo, this moons for you...best I could think of and still be nice! http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj190/whazoo100/San%20Rafael%20Swell%202010/whazoosignal.jpg wsdepa, Shhh, I was hoping it wouldn't get noticed. What gave me away? BlueStilly, How's the bottle kite flying these days. You should market that dude. You'd need a disclaimer though,"Must wear hardhat while flying kite." By the way Mike, even if you weren't kidding, I'd be the first to agree. Thanks for the kudos, I just don't know about setting the bar. Maybe sitting AT the bar:B rbthom, Well that's a very nice thing to say, I appreciate it. Come on over to the "lite" side anytime. Reddog1, Yeah Wayne, since I have "influence", could you go ahead and whazoozap those guys for me, I forgot how. It's been a while since I whazoozapped anyone except my own foot. kcab, Well there you have it, a miswhazunderstanding on my part. And you bet, those whazgoblins were very spooky whilst in their midst. You'd just swear something moved out of the corner of your eye and it would make you shiver. Or was it just the cold? Hope your Bro gets over the pirate routine soon Matey. Thanks for the moon shot Dave. :B

RE: Outfitter Trip Report:It was a Swell Trip, lots of pictures

However the icon for a "whazoo in the sky" would only confuse people, as they would mistake it for a full moon. Pretty sure I don't want to see that. :E...I was just thinking the same thing. Full Moon, Pressed Ham...naw. :B
