Logic change on computer:
If brake sensor is active
then
set max_throttle to 5% fuel.
Beats the hell out of going into neutral or turnning the key off.

Weight police on a regular basis distribute weight based upon rear and front axle capacity.
It seems that this would distribute the weight more evenly.
A hitch above the cab and the ability to swing around and push your rig into place....lol
There are reasons that it was not used, but maybe they could have overcome those reason when the laughter stops.

An accident occurs, the driver is alive, do the police take all hand held devices as evidence? How many authorities have password access to, knowledge of operation and proper training to determine texting was involved? Then how many of these 'so-called provider log files' are synchronized with the world clock to prove + or - texting within a few seconds before the accident?
I sure would like to watch a court trial try and prove all this.
Just SHUT-UP and offer no comment to the authorities. They need to prove it and the proof will be so filled with holes that an average grade school kid could defend you.
Careless driving is just that. Plain and simple. You watch someone put on makeup while driving and you cannot prove it. You watch someone hold their hand to their ear and that is not proof just because they also own a phone.
would someone please make the popcorn.

People selling their "medical" marijuana on Craigslist!!!!!
Or the ones that claim they need it.
These same people seem to only need it until the money runs out (payday+3days). The rest of the month they seem just fine.
Now we need an aspirin that works that good! ;)

We agree about a lot.
Our system is also broken. Took 60 years for that and I am kinda hoping you guys down there create a better less costly one as a model to influence our change. I love what we have - no real complaints.
IMHO, a public broken system that needs tuning is better than no system or a system that is controlled by greed.

Rick, you forgot to mention the existing 100 million that do speak English and cannot afford what the monthly cost are today.
The haves shall always help the have nots in hopes that they too shall become the haves one day.
Because someone is going through short term hard times does not mean they should also carry the stresses of not having health care.

Yes Canada would have a struggle if our coverage needed to be increased by 10% on the population.
But there would never be an option not to do it.

These are the most difficult issues we will ever deal with in 'other peoples lives'. I for one do not want to be kept alive the way these people were.
On a financial note.........
Here in Ontario Canada I have never seen a a medical bill (ever). I do believe that many medical frauds are happening every minute of the day.
If the USa public option also ensured that the public / patient must see the bill and have a right to question it, it could help influence our system for the better.
