RE: Akron, Ohio campgrouds

West Branch State Park is nice and is about 20 minutes to the east. They do have some sites that do not require reservations. evergreenrv.cc is about 45 minutes south of Akron in Amish country and is one of the nicest campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Cutty's Sunset is another one to the east (we have not stayed here) but they do have a website.

RE: Niagara Falls?

We stayed last spring at AA campground and hotel. Owners were nice but no amenities and the sites were very small.

RE: Carlisle Tires

I blew out a Marathon on the way home from S.C. because it was old and I should have known better. I found a shop and all they had were Carlisle tires to fit my old fiver. I put them on but had a bulging tire 1 year later with less than 3500 miles on it. I would definitely go with a different brand.

RE: Cedar point ohio ?

This is a great campground but I would definitely get reservations as it gets very busy in the summer season.

RE: Cedar Point

My family goes every year. This is a great campground and the park has something for every age. Definitely get your reservations in early if you want a pull through site. Have fun!!

RE: Do buy local or drive to save money?

I was working on a deal with my local dealer until I found the same unit on ebay. I won that unit and drove 1000 miles round trip to get it. I try to buy locally, but I will definitely drive some distance for a good deal.

RE: Your Rig

Outside shower 8' up on the wall? That's just wierd!
I didn't say outside shower, that is the rectangle box just above my storage door. That little square door 8' up allows me access to the plumbing for my shower that is inside the unit.
